[COSCI]

Welcome to Canyon Oaks Sportman's Club Inc

Finest Shooting Club in Southern California

Offering a variety of shooting disciplines for the sportsman.

General Information

Canyon Oaks Sportsman's Club (COSC) is a Non-Profit organization aiding its members and the general public in the education and training on firearm safety and use through recreational activities.

COSC promotes a better understanding between sportsmen and the general public by sponsoring events both monthly (Educational Gun Safety Classes & .22 Cowboy Demonstration Match) and annually (Summerfest) for the benefit of its members and other Non-Profit purposes.

Only persons of good character who have been sponsored by two current members in good standing are permitted to join Canyon Oaks Sportsman's Club.

COSC is a working man's club which means that there is no 'hired' help or full-time caretaker to take care of the property.

Therefore, every member is required and expected to do his or her share of contributions throughout the course of the year.

Without this dedication and commitment, Canyon Oaks Sportsman's Club would not last.

COSC shares Lopez Canyon Shooting Range with four other organizations: Crescenta Valley, Panorama, Gopher Flats & San Fernando.

Although each club is independently managed by its own members, the range is managed by the Combined Range Committee composed of representatives of each of the clubs.

NRALogo

General membership meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM at the clubhouse.

There you will learn that each member of COSC is typically either a Lifetime National Rifle Association member or maintains membership with the NRA.

NRAHomeSafety

In order to maintain a safe and clean environment for all users of the Range, all members and guests shall be responsible for area clean-up, safe shooting practices, and the preservation of the area and its facilities.

Persons observed to be careless, destructive, negligent, or who leave their trash behind will be determined to be in violation of Range Rules.

Canyon Oaks graciously accepts all contributions especially those made towards rebuilding efforts from the '17 Creek Fire. Funds paid to Canyon Oaks are not deductible as charitable donations for income tax purposes.
